Income MUST NOT become part of the property taxation formula-unless we are all communists.Rent or buy what you can afford. Do not expect other hardworking people to elevate you at their expense. Government can only "give" what it first "takes" from someone else. Simply learn to be responsible and PLAN your life better. P.S. stop with tatoos, cell phones, cigs, soda pop, fried food,sugar,games,etc. AND GET TO WORK. No one wants to support lazy lard %sses!!!

You sound like someone whose parents raised you properly, you were probably an eagle scout, and a member of the honor society. Further, you probably worked three jobs to get thru college, and you probably have gotten out of bed and headed into work most all of your adult life. In addition you probably always filed and paid your taxes timely. In fact nearly 50% of your income has paid to governments at every level. SO WHY DO YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT GIVING MORE TO THOSE WHO RIDE THE WELFARE_PLEASE PAY FOR ME GRAVY TRAIN. THOSE WITHOUT "DESERVE" ALL YOU HAVE LEFT. RIGHT?? If not move away and leave the dregs to fend for themselves.{remember escape from new york}

capitalism is high taxation..this is a capitalistic society..one greedy human is more important than the next..those who make the most, get all of the advantages..the corporations, and the politicans in their pockets take and take and take..then the tire of paying a fare wage and the work leaves..walmart's is some good job..try to survive on it! the poor of ny want to work and do! Show me cheap apartments..show me the education for the common children..they are discarded..no more free hand out for the rich!!!

I, for one, can say that "Rent or buy what you can afford...PLAN your life better...stop with tatoos,..." is crap. I have seen my parents, grandparents, etc. break their backs their entire lives and scrimp and save, with no extras, frills or wants, only to find in their golden years that with the changing of the times, (which looking back 20-30 yrs NO ONE could have seen where we are today)they are forced to give up all that they have worked so hard for and still have a hard time paying for day to day necessities. I can only say that maybe you need to be able to see beyond yourself and notice that "Hard work" does not equal prosperity and freedom from financial issues.
